Pranayama is an essential practice on the yoga path as outlined by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutra. However, training in how and when to use appropriate breathing practices beyond Ujjayi is hard to find in many yoga teacher trainings. Beloved Yoga has developed a specialized training to help you better understand breathing mechanics and the anatomy of breath, how to use and teach breath practices in asana, how to use breath practices in a contemplative practice, and how teachers can skillfully incorporate pranayama into personal practice, group yoga classes and one-on-one settings.
This workshop is open to yoga practitioners interested in deepening their yoga practice and yoga teachers looking to add a new skill set to their teaching toolkit.
